Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Toon Boom Animation, the Montreal, Canada-based company behind software used widely in the animation industry, has made sure that artists at studios and schools can continue to use its software remotely.
Toon Boom has announced to be providing studios and educational institutions free 30-day home use licenses for their staff, teachers and students. This is in response to studios and schools which have shut down their physical locations due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) and ask artists to work from home.
The offer is available to its active Toon Boom users of Harmony and Storyboard Pro and will be valid from 13 March to 17 April. They have also updated their company website explaining how users can make the best out of this advantage for a month and more.
With 25 years of incomparable experience, Toon Boom’s award-winning software is the global standard for animation and story-boarding. Storyboard Pro and Harmony solutions provide everyone from enthusiasts to professionals with the artistic freedom to create in any style and efficiently publish anywhere.
Toon Boom has been used in the production of many high-profile productions including Disney’s Tangled, the Oscar-winning short Hair Love, seven-time Annie Award-winning Klaus, and Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering with You, among hundreds of other productions.
