Banijay group’s Zodiak Kids announces global sales of Children’s series

Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids announced global sales for the children’s series and specials it acquired for international distribution from Amazon Studios at MIPCOM last year. Zodiak Kids represents the linear broadcasting rights for 17 Amazon Prime Originals titles globally, while all series continue to air on Amazon Prime Video across the globe.

The 17 series and specials have proved incredibly popular with broadcasters worldwide and key sales have been secured across the continents.

Animated series Lost in Oz has been picked up across the globe by; ABC (Australia), Disney Channel (free to air, Germany & Russia), France Televisions, SVT (Sweden), RTS (Switzerland), Medialaan (Belgium), Nickelodeon (Benelux), Studio 100 (Germany), NRK (Norway), YLE (Finland), ETB (Spain), SIC K (Portugal), Noga (Israel), Tele Quebec (French Canada) and Discovery (Latin America). The Emmy Award-winning series is also broadcasting in Asia with True Spark (Thailand), PTS (Taiwan), Global TV (Indonesia), Bravo Kids (Korea) and ViuTVsix (Hong Kong).

On top of Lost in Oz, SVT has also acquired the broadcast rights to Little Big Awesome and live-action series Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, NRK has also taken both series of The Stinky and Dirty Show!, YLE will be broadcasting If You Give a Mouse a Cookie plus three Christmas specials, and

SIC K has picked up all three series of Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street and The Kicks.

The BBC has picked up Little Big Awesome for its CBBC channel in the U.K. & Ireland. ABC Australia has also secured the rights to the series, as has ViuTVsix (Hong Kong).

Knowledge Network (Canada) has taken over 47 hours of Prime originals, including Creative Galaxy, Tumble Leaf, The Stinky and Dirty Show!, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give a Mouse a Christmas Cookie, Click, Clack Moo: Christmas at the Farm and The Snowy Day for free TV and FVOD. The Kicks is also broadcasting in Canada on Yoopa (TVA).

TV2 in Poland and Hungary have bought Click Clack Moo, Lost In Oz and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
